Lead Audio/Video Technician

 

Responsibilities:

 

Candidate must be able to lead and assist with the installation and termination of products in the most efficient and effective manner. All employees must provide customers with a professional and complete job within set time parameters, while keeping a safe and clean work environment.

 

 

Must be able to perform the following duties:

 

• Pull wire; long and short runs

• Terminate wiring to all necessary equipment

• Install speakers, televisions, screens, lights, racks, receivers, amps, projectors, microphones, cameras, and any other related product as required

• Program specialty IT platforms

• Operate power tools and comply with safety programs

• Complete accurate and detailed work tickets for each and every job​

• Program RTI and URC remotes

• Be able to lift 80+ pounds throughout the day, and stand/crouch a full shift

 

 

Requirements / Knowledge:

 

• Knowledge of signal flow, switching systems, IP addresses, and DHCP / static addressing

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess strong troubleshooting skills

• Be a team player and possess leadership qualities

• Exhibit strong networking, IT, and programming skills, as well as knowledge of industry standards in Audio/Video system design and integration

• Have at least two years prior experience with professional installation techniques

 

 

Additional Information:

 

Please list all appropriate certifications in resume and any prior experience with satellite installation is a plus. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required for team members in order to operate company vehicles. This is a full time position with required overtime/weekends on a regular basis.
